Meet Dr. Lali Minocha, D.D.S.
Why do I love being a Dentist: I have been accused of being passionate about dentistry. I love to share my knowledge about not only getting a spectacular smile but more importantly keeping it. Most Dentists’ regretfully, don’t spend time teaching their patients how to avoid falling into the same old traps of always getting cavities, or breaking teeth. I not only tell you but have found alternatives and “tools” to help you keep your teeth for your lifetime! People sometimes simply see their teeth as an accessory. They are much more than that, they are the gateway to your body, and thus your overall health depends and is very closely linked to your oral health. Many major diseases such as diabetes, stroke and heart attacks, premature birth, even SIDS can be linked to poor oral health. Being a caring Dentist also allows me to help my patients overcome terrible past dental experiences. One of my biggest rewards is seeing the transformation of someone who is fearful and can barely make eye contact with me initially, blossom into a smiling happy confident patient just from me taking time to understand their situation and make sure that they feel safe and comfortable. I love it!
I have a husband, 2 beautiful children and 2 dogs….they keep me busy. We love to be outside and try new adventures. I picked up an appreciation of photography from my Father, and my kids are always eager subjects.
I graduated from University of Michigan Dental School in 1993. I am a D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery)
